據發現，如果先對某 TLS 連線使用檔案憑證，但未針對後續的 TLS 連線設定任何憑證，則以 NSS (Network Security Services) 為構建基礎的 libcurl 會不正確地重新使用用戶端憑證。針對 Debian 7「Wheezy」，此問題已於 7.26.0-1+wheezy15 版中修正。
