CVE-2014-9756
libsndfile 之 file_io.c 中的 psf_fwrite 函式允許攻擊者透過與 headindex 變數相關的不明向量，造成拒絕服務 (除以零錯誤和應用程式損毀)。
CVE-2015-7805
libsndfile 1.0.25 中的堆積型緩衝區溢位允許遠端攻擊者透過 AIFF 檔案標頭中的 headindex 值，造成不明影響。
