在 PolarSSl 和 mbed TLS 中發現一個瑕疵：用戶端建立 ClientHello 訊息時，因為邊界檢查不充分，可能在寫入部分延伸模組期間，導致含有該訊息的堆積型緩衝區發生溢位。特別是，遠端攻擊者可能利用下列兩個延伸模組觸發溢位：工作階段票證延伸模組和伺服器名稱指示 (SNI) 延伸模組。
雖然大部分有弱點的程式碼都不存在於 Squeeze 版本，但是此上傳至少包含一個傳入資料的長度檢查。
注意：Tenable Network Security 已直接從 DLA 安全性公告擷取前置描述區塊。Tenable 已盡量在不造成其他問題的前提下，嘗試自動清理並將其格式化。
