Mozilla Thunderbird 是獨立式郵件與新聞群組用戶端。
處理格式有誤之網頁內容時發現多個瑕疵。包含惡意內容的網頁可導致 Thunderbird 損毀，或可能利用執行 Thunderbird 之使用者的權限來執行任意程式碼。(CVE-2015-2708、CVE-2015-2710、CVE-2015-2713)
在 Thunderbird 處理壓縮之 XML 資料的方式中發現一個堆積型緩衝區溢位瑕疵。攻擊者可建立特製的 XML 壓縮內容，一旦 Thunderbird 處理該內容，就可能造成其本身損毀，或者以執行 Thunderbird 的使用者權限來執行任意程式碼。(CVE-2015-2716)
注意：由於郵件訊息預設為停用 JavaScript，因此攻擊者無法利用特製的 HTML 郵件訊息惡意利用上述問題。這些問題可在 Thunderbird 中透過其他方式遭到惡意利用，例如，檢視完整的遠端 RSS 摘要內容。
