在 PHP 用於剖析深度巢狀 XML 文件的方式中，發現一個緩衝區溢位瑕疵。如果 PHP 應用程式使用 xml_parse_into_struct() 函式剖析未受信任的 XML 內容，可提供特製 XML 的攻擊者就可利用此瑕疵，造成應用程式損毀，或以執行 PHP 解譯器之使用者的權限，執行任意程式碼。(CVE-2013-4113)
所有 php53 使用者皆應升級至這些更新版套件，其中包含可解決此問題的反向移植修補程式。安裝更新版套件後，必須先重新啟動 httpd 程序，更新才會生效。
