適用於 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 第 1 版已淘汰，此為一個月通知。此通知僅適用於已針對 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 訂閱 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 第 1 版的客戶。為配合 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 生命週期原則，針對 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 提供的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 產品 (包括 MRG-Messaging、MRG-Realtime 和 MRG-Grid) 第 1 版，自 2014 年 3 月 31 日起將淘汰且不再提供支援。
據此，該日以後，Red Hat 將不再對 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 上的 MRG-Messaging、MRG-Realtime 和 MRG-Grid 第 1 版提供更新版套件，包括重大影響安全性修補程式或迫切優先順序錯誤修正。此外，2014 年 3 月 31 日過後，Red Hat 的全球支援服務也不再向 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 上的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 第 1 版提供技術支援。
建議客戶規劃從適用於 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 第 1 版，移轉至 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 或 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 上的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 第 2 版。客戶可以使用其有效的 Red Hat Enterprise MRG 訂閱，授權目前支援之產品版本上的任何系統，這是 Red Hat 訂閱模型的優勢之一。
