此更新可修正下列安全性問題：
* 據發現，記憶體不足 (OOM) 終止程式可出現鎖死問題。處理程序可藉由消耗大量記憶體觸發此鎖死問題，並且進一步導致呼叫 request_module()。無權限的本機使用者可利用此瑕疵造成拒絕服務 (過度消耗記憶體)。(CVE-2012-4398，中等)

kernel-rt 套件已升級至上游版本 3.2，相較於先前的版本，此版本提供數個錯誤修正與增強功能。(BZ#798421)
