Libguestfs 是一個程式庫及一組工具，用於存取和修改來賓磁碟映像。
據發現，guestfish 如果啟用 libguestfs 的 shell 指令碼和命令行存取，則在伺服器模式中啟動時，會不安全地建立用於儲存網路通訊端的暫存目錄。本機攻擊者可利用此瑕疵攔截和修改其他使用者的 guestfish 命令，讓他們能藉由其他使用者的權限執行任意 guestfish 動作，或是利用此瑕疵來取得驗證認證。(CVE-2013-4419)
此問題是由 Red Hat 區域 IT 團隊的 Michael Scherer 所發現的。
這些更新版 libguestfs 套件包含多個錯誤修正及增強功能。因空間所限，無法在此公告中記錄所有這些變更。系統將使用者導向至＜參照＞一節中的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 「技術提示」文件連結，以便其了解這些變更中最重要項目的資訊。
