這是結束提供 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 Extended Update Support (EUS) Add-on 的 5 個月通知。根據 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 錯字勘誤表支援原則，適用於 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 的 Extended Update Support Add-On 將在 2013 年 7 月 31 日結束。據此，該日以後，Red Hat 將不再對 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 EUS 提供更新版套件，包括重大影響安全性修補程式或迫切優先順序錯誤修正。此外，在 2013 年 7 月 31 日後，Red Hat 的全球支援服務也不再為此 Add-on 提供技術支援。
注意：此通知僅適用於已訂閱 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 之 Extended Update Support (EUS) 通道的客戶。
建議客戶規劃從 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 移轉至較新版的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 或 6。
客戶可以使用其有效的訂閱，授權目前支援之 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 版本 (可用 EUS 的 5.9 版) 或 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 版本 (可用 EUS 的 6.2、6.3 或 6.4) 上的任何系統，這是 Red Hat 訂閱模型的優勢之一。
