libguestfs 是一個程式庫，用於存取和修改來賓磁碟映像。
據發現，使用 virt-edit 編輯檔案會使前述檔案保留在任何人皆可讀取的狀態 (而且並未保留檔案擁有者或 Security-Enhanced Linux 內容)。如果主機系統管理員使用 virt-edit 編輯來賓內的檔案，檔案會保留任何人皆可讀取的權限。這可導致無權限的來賓使用者存取他們原本無法存取的檔案。
