在 rgmanager 與 rgmanager 所執行的各種資源指令碼中，發現多個不安全暫存檔使用缺陷。本機攻擊者可利用這些缺陷，透過符號連結攻擊，以 rgmanager 或資源代理程式的輸出覆寫可由 rgmanager 處理程序 (即使用者 root) 寫入的任意檔案。(CVE-2008-6552)
此更新也可修復下列錯誤：
* clulog 現可接受「-」為訊息的第一個字元。
* 若 expire_time 為 0，則不再忽略 max_restarts。
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 隨附之 rgmanager 套件所包含的 SAP 資源代理程式已過時。此更新包含最新的 SAP 資源代理程式，可改善 SAP 容錯移轉支援。
* 空白 PID 檔案不會再造成資源啟動失敗。
* 使用以 ra-skelet.sh 為基礎的資源時，「restart」類型的復原原則現可正常運作。
* samba.sh 已更新，終止了適當 PID 檔案中所列的 PID。
* 已改善「-F」選項的處理，修復了當受限之容錯移轉網域的成員不在線上時造成 rgmanager 損毀的問題。
* 現可限制同步狀態檢查的次數，以避免載入尖峰。
* 已最佳化狀態檢查期間的分支處理和複製，減少了載入尖峰。
* 以大的叢集設定檔執行時，rg_test 不再懸置。
* 當 rgmanager 與受限之容錯移轉網域搭配使用時，若某些節點在容錯移轉事件期間離線，則不會再偶爾發生分割錯誤。
* 在 cluster.conf 更新後，虛擬機器來賓不再重新啟動。
* nfsclient.sh 執行後不再遺留暫存檔。
* 已移除 Oracle 代理程式的額外檢查。
* vm.sh 目前使用 libvirt。
* 使用者現可在啟用 central_processing 時定義明確的服務處理順序。
* 虛擬機器來賓無法再同時啟動 2 個節點。
* 在某些情況下，成功移轉的虛擬機器來賓可在更新 cluster.conf 檔案後重新啟動。
* 已解決在服務尚未啟動時卻錯誤地報告服務已啟動的問題。
此外，此更新還新增了下列增強功能：
* 已將 startup_wait 選項新增至 MySQL 資源代理程式。
* 現可排列服務的優先順序。
* rgmanager 現可檢查 OOM 終止程式是否已將其終止，若已終止，則將節點重新開機。
建議 rgmanager 使用者升級至此更新版套件，其可解決這些問題並新增這些增強功能。
