Neel Mehta 發現，用於管理系統管理原則和權限的架構 Policykit 中存在爭用情形，允許本機使用者從 pkexec 執行 setuid 程式，進而提升權限。舊的穩定發行版本 (lenny) 不包含 policykit-1 套件。
解決方案
升級 policykit-1 套件。針對穩定的發行版本 (squeeze)，這個問題已經在 0.96-4+squeeze1 版本中修正。
