此更新可修正下列安全性問題：
* 據發現，可在網路命名空間設定完成之前呼叫 ipip 模組中 ipip_init() 函式內的接收勾點，以及 ip_gre 模組中 ipgre_init() 函式內的接收勾點。
如果是在 ipip or ip_gre 模組還在載入核心時接收到套件，可造成拒絕服務。(CVE-2011-1767、CVE-2011-1768，中等)
* 據發現，MAP_PRIVATE 旗標在 '/dev/zero' 上的 mmap() 呼叫會建立透明的 hugepage，並會觸發某些健全性檢查。無權限的本機使用者可利用此瑕疵引發拒絕服務。(CVE-2011-2479，中等)
此更新還修正數個錯誤。這些錯誤修正的相關文件，近期將可從＜參照＞一節的「技術提示」文件連結中取得。
使用者應升級至這些更新版套件，其中包含可解決這些問題的反向移植修補程式，且可修正新增「技術提示」中所述的錯誤。必須重新啟動系統，此更新才會生效。
