發現非同步事件通知程式庫 libevent 有數個弱點。
HTTP 實作 （evhttp） 處理 Transfer-Encoding 和 Content-Length 標頭、區塊編碼行終止符、標頭行折疊和區塊預告片過於寬鬆，當基於 libevent 的伺服器或用戶端與 HTTP Proxy 結合時，這可能會允許 HTTP 要求走私、標頭插入或存取控制繞過。
DNS （evdns）、標記的 RPC （evtag/evrpc） 和緩衝通訊端 （bufferevent） 程式碼中的越界記憶體存取，以及 evbuffer 中的釋放後使用，可能會導致拒絕服務，或在處理不受信任的輸入時執行任意程式碼。
對於穩定版 （trixie），這些問題已在 2.1.13-stable-1~deb13u1 版中修正。
