NI/O cmds 正在分散於 2 個工作階段的目標層中執行。 2. 啟動器會針對每個工作階段傳送一個 LUN_RESET。 3. session1 的 LUN_RESET 會針對兩個工作階段的所有執行中命令進行迴圈並將這些命令移至其本機 Drain_task_list。 4.
session2 的 LUN_RESET 看不到來自 session1 的 LUN_RESET因為上述認可已使其自行移除。 session2 也看不到任何命令因為其他重設將其移出狀態清單。 5.
session2 的 LUN_RESET 之後將會完成並提供成功的回應。 6. session2 的 inititor 認為其工作階段上執行的命令現在已因成功回應而遭到清除因此會清除其工作階段執行中的命令。然後會重新啟動它們。 7. 命令最終會在後端完成且目標開始傳回這些命令的中止工作狀態。如果 ITT 已重新配置啟動器將會擲回無效的 ITT 錯誤或可能意外查閱新工作。透過還原修補程式修正錯誤并序列化 LUN_RESETs 與先佔與中止的執行。也防止我們在 core_tmr_drain_tmr_list 中的 LUN_RESET 上等待因為原始修補程式已修正一個未提及的錯誤。針對 LUN_RESET1 core_tmr_drain_tmr_list 可以查看第二個 LUN_RESET並在其上等待。然後第二個重設會執行 core_tmr_drain_tmr_list 並查看第一個重設並在其上等待進而導致鎖死。 (CVE-2023-53586)
