The remote Rocky Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Rocky Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RLSA-2024:2758 advisory.

 - A Marvin vulnerability side-channel leakage was found in the RSA decryption operation in the Linux Kernel.
 This issue may allow a network attacker to decrypt ciphertexts or forge signatures, limiting the services that use that private key. (CVE-2023-6240)

 - hw: amd: Instruction raise #VC exception at exit (CVE-2024-25742, CVE-2024-25743)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
