What Type of Information Does Tenable Collect?

Tenable (a) processes personal data it receives from the EU and Switzerland and subsequent transfers of such personal data to a third party acting on its behalf under the respective Privacy Shield Framework, (b) complies with the Privacy Shield Principles, and (c) is subject to the enforcement power of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.Tenable shall cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) to resolve any employee complaints regarding human resources data transferred from the EU and/or Switzerland in the context of the employment relationship.In certain situations, Tenable may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
How Does Tenable Collect My Information?
Tenable may collect Personally Identifiable Information from You through our Sites at different events:such as when You request a demo; register for a webinar, event or promotion; contact us via email or live chat; subscribe to our newsletter; respond to a survey; register for our partner programs; download content; access customer support portals; apply to a job opening on our careers page; or when You purchase, register or apply online for products or services.
Tenable may also collect Personally Identifiable Information from You offline such as during phone calls and meeting with sales and support representatives, when You attend our events, or when You contact customer service.
Tenable may also obtain information about You from other sources such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms, and from other third parties.
How Does Tenable Use My Information?

Tenable uses IP addresses to calculate usage levels of the Site, help identify issues with its servers and security incidents, administer the Site and monitor the region from which You navigate to the Site.Tenable may also use anonymized information, such as aggregate data about visitors to the Site, to determine how to improve the Site, marketing and services, to determine how visitors find out about the Site and which of our online services most interest visitors to the Site.Tenable may share anonymized information with third parties.
